Isn't it all actually about accepting your polarities and seeing them in the truth of how things are?To truly love yourself, with "everything included."

Just as in life, so in creating.

To keep what we see and feel open, readable. For those of us to whom this space whispers something - so they can wander through it with their eyes and soul - touch the things we've touched - and allow themselves to feel the way we felt.

Today's "Introvert's corner" is a little about the process of finding your own "voice" in creating - and about allowing yourself to be fully yourself.

In that version that sometimes wants to be crumpled, dirty, smoky, "unmanaged" and unpolished.

Raw, direct, yet human and also deliberately "precise and realistic" - in places where you might least expect it - so as to underline the contrast of light and dark within ourselves.

What shapes us.

Art created from love, with a sensitive approach, a free hand guiding the brush and a self-critical eye that only intervenes when we ask it to - touches that part of our soul and being that is still wild, perceptive and pure.

It holds a conversation with it.

Without words.

I'm becoming increasingly aware that leaving my painting process visible, a little exposed and vulnerable, is one of the most important - yet also one of the hardest things for me.

I'm also aware that this is precisely what I love most about creating - and I carry quite a fear of what people will say when I allow myself to express things so directly, a little rawly, yet absolutely truthfully.

Can I allow myself to be fully myself, completely open and seen, through my art?

Ok.

I'll try.

In : One - two - three ...

Exhale - inhale.

I let go of control.

Here comes the brush. Here are some more colours.

One brushstroke after another.

Leave it as is! It is perfect. Oh and here comes the palette knife.

Maybe some more water?

Man! That IS wild.

Wow.

Ok.

Will they judge me? Will they say I "don't know what I'm doing"? Wait.

Am I judging myself for it?

Hm. I think it doesn't matter. Inhale. Exhale.

I create for myself - my work is accompanied and inspired by my own life and inner states. These are personal things and they are here to be set free - whatever they are.

They are open stories without endings. Life stories that don't want and often can't remain locked and stuck in the body. They want to go out - into freedom - so the soul can be free and move forward.

When I look at the paintings that pass through my hands, there is always an element of wind - air - movement - darkness - and especially various curves and writing that doesn't capture precise words, but rather the movement of energy. As if I'm searching for connections - small links that lead to greater awakenings.

Wait - that's exactly it! One of my symbols that I've been using "unconsciously" from the very beginning are curves and organic lines that often resemble writing. How simple!

After all, I've loved writing since childhood - and it has always accompanied me in some way. And now - what am I doing now?

Writing! Hallelujah. Of course!

Things fall into place. Especially when I finally begin to clearly see what is right in front of my own nose 😊.

So let's get on with self-discovery and new creating, friends.

Take care of yourselves - let's take care of each other, let's love each other. There are more of us than we think.

And things are moving.
