Today - I am practical. And then dreamlike, too :).

The company along the way will be photos from the place we are soon leaving. And photos of my new, work-in-progress painting series from the collection: "Places I See."

Because that's who I am. Logical - yet at the same time irrationally and powerfully, intuitively brave - sometimes so much so that others often don't understand me.

And above all: Constantly DREAMING.

So, let's take it from the beginning.

We're looking for a new studio. And it's not by our own choice. But by the will of higher forces.

Apparently.

The situation is this: at the end of these summer holidays, we will be moving out of our well-settled, beloved studio at Arte Misia.

Why?The owners of the building have other plans for it. They'll be converting it - into a student dormitory. Both Wašo and I have a bitter taste in our mouths because of it.The role of the victim has been giving us a hard time these days.

This year is relentless.

Uncompromising.

Cleansing.

Turbulent.

And... beautifully, wildly adventurous.

My intuition had been whispering for a few months that a change was coming. Something in me wants, as always, to rationalise it and: throw it in the bin.

"Don't bother with it, you're just getting silly ideas again" - logic chimes in.

What's strange, though, is that for several months now I've had the feeling that I've been saying goodbye to this space at Arte Misia. Without knowing at the time what was being resolved in the background.

"Listen to the impulses of your wise body and the hints it gives you. Everything is already written - you just need to tune in and let the information flow to you. Pay close attention." - I hear somewhere in the background - as if someone from within my space was whispering to me how to approach things.

Honestly? This change isn't the easiest for Wašo and me - we've built a relationship with this place, so many things in it have been arranged exactly the way we need for a studio. We created a harbour there full of joy, creative life, workshops and growth. And for me personally - strange as it may sound - it's a living organism. A being.

Every time I unlock it with the key, I say hello to it and occasionally have a little "chat" with it...

So... Changes are coming. They've always suited me, even if not entirely painlessly - that's just how it is.

I'm learning to welcome them with humility, respect and trust.Trust in the process and in growth for everyone involved.

So that what is meant to happen can happen.

I'm tuning into what wants to be.

Trust your heart and your clear intention. Hold on - things are becoming clearer.

Keep doing things with joy and love.

Create - you don't know how to do it any other way.

Give yourself time. Yourself, and the changes too. They bring movement and space for new projects and visions gradually coming into being. Visions that would never have come true if we hadn't first allowed ourselves to truly dream them.

To live them in our imagination, to feel them in our bones.

Being a "naive" dreamer who is willing to put in the hard work - because they've long since seen it materialised - is only for the adventurous and the brave.

And we are those people.

So let's get to work and discover what's still waiting for us here.We have a lot of work ahead of us.The kind that's worth it.

And we're ready.

With love and trust in perfect timing,

~ Ivi
