Both Wašo and I need to stabilise together - and figure out how we function in a reasonable and sustainable way. So we made a plan. We've both found work that isn't quite in "our" beloved artistic field - but it helps us keep our creative bubble and studio alive. We were exhausted by the constant search for projects, commissions and the unusual approaches of some people.

So we decided to try doing things differently this time. To keep the studio and all the costs that come with it. I work with children at school and at a club, he often travels around Slovakia. Yes, we've been thinking for a while about how to figure it out so we could live solely from art - but in the winter months, honestly, that's very difficult for us.

It wasn't a decision made overnight and it wasn't easy for either of us - and in my heart, it came with quite a few tears.

But it is a decision that is mature, temporary and above all: ours together.

Over the past period we've often paused and wondered whether creating still makes sense at all, whether we should just let it all go - and so called "grow up." The moment we started letting go of those plans, even more people started reaching out.

You come to us with how much you love our work - want it - how much you enjoy reading our posts and above all, that you want to come to our workshops and spend creative time with us - not just yourselves, but your children and friends too.

And regularly.

So... the answers to what we should do and which direction to take are being shown to us - and you can't not see them.

We simply don't know how to "not" create - and above all: we don't want to 😊.

Creating fills us with life energy, we experience catharsis through it, art triggers transformation for the better in both of us - and above all, we both know that the only thing we truly need is to get the opportunity to dedicate ourselves to it full-time, on a "bigger playing field" 😊.

We're ready. And we know it's coming.

And while it all takes shape - we keep working hard, creating patiently whenever we find even a little moment, and being where we are right now - here and now.
